Magic Salt is regular rock salt that has been treated with Magic Minus Zero. This liquid is a de-icing product which is recycled from agricultural processing industries and then blended with liquid magnesium chloride. Together they are completely biodegradable and environmentally friendly.

When added to salt, the liquid suppresses its corrosive nature to steel and concrete. At the same time, this unique product is colored and will inhibit salt's messy residue.

Due to its non-corrosive nature, Magic Salt has been approved for highway use. However, it is also used on roadways, driveways, walkways, etc. It works faster and lasts longer at lower temperatures, making it the ideal ice melter in today's competitive industry. Magic Salt also prevents re-freezing commonly associated with sodium based de-icers. The performance of this product is equivalent, if not better than the more expensive blended products at a much more reasonable cost.

When applied to snow or ice, melting should begin immediately, and melting action will continue longer than standard rock salt products. The loosened ice and snow can be easily removed with a shovel, however, for better results, first remove all loose snow and slush from driveways or walkways.

Also, spreading a generous amount in the path of traction wheels is a great way to get out of slick areas.
