Liquid Deicers/Anti-Icers
The pro-active application or re-active placement of a liquid ice melting agent on
the pavement surface prior to the accumulation of frozen precipitation, or to an
already existing ice or hard pack snow surface. When applied in a stream pattern,
performance enhancing liquids vertically penetrate the snowpack and break the bond
at the road surface.
Bulk Solid Deicers
As a pre-wetting agent for salt and sand, chloride enhanced liquids reduce bounce
and scatter, increase the speed at which the salt begins working, increase the
melting capacity of the salt, and facilitate the use of salt at lower temperatures.
Packaged Deicers
The market's leading packaged de-icing products, sold in
a variety of bag, jug and pail sizes.
