GO TEAM GO…

A little local support goes a long way.  We are excited to share the great news coming out of Sir Wilfrid Laurier Collegiate Institute care of Louis Foulidis, Head Coach for Football/Hockey:

Innovative Company has given many of our student/athletes the opportunity to realize their dreams and goals on and off the field.  Four of our players have earned football scholarships in the last 2 seasons alone. Shaquille Murray will be attending University of Nevada Las Vegas, Nathaneal Cameron is attending Simon Fraser University, Emerson Gourdet will be attending Sir Wilfrid Laurier University and Jordan Oliver will be attending Concordia University.

We are also extremely proud to point out that 35 more players have also been accepted to various universities and colleges throughout Ontario with regards to their academic achievements.

Thanks again for your continued support!  Louis Foulidis

Strategies to Save You Money…

As the Winter winds down, and all you road warriors reassess the costs associated with winter clean-up, let us share some exciting news from the Town of Woodstock’s Road Superintendent of Public Works, Dennis Porter, who tried something different this winter by treating their winter ice melting salt with  Magic Minus Zero®

“We have had phenomenal success using Magic Minus Zero® in New Brunswick.  The town treated 32 storms this season using the product.  We have approximately 60 km of streets and approximately the same in sidewalks where we used a mixture of salt & Magic Minus Zero®.  The end results were reduced plowing time because of the extended melt time early in a storm, quick clean up at the end of the storm with bare roads almost instantly, and a longer residual effect keeping roads bare and dry for extended periods.  Click here to read more

An opportunity to remember…

Thankful for the freedoms that we enjoy today, Innovative welcomes both the US and Canadian Operations to join an annual broadcasted ceremony in honour of our fallen soldiers and shares the following thoughts:

  • We are gathered here today on this 11th  hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of the 11th year of the century to give thanks to those who served us and paid the ultimate sacrifice so that we can live in peace and harmony.  If I were one of those fallen soldiers, what would I want or expect from my family, friends, co-workers and fellow citizens:
  1. To live every moment to the fullest.
  2. To work hand in hand every day and enjoy whatever we were doing.
  3. To love and be loved by family and friends.
  4. To stop from time to time and “smell the roses” and enjoy the simplier things that life has to offer.
  5. To treat every fellow citizen, regardless of race, colour or nationality, with the same respect and support
  6. When we see someone in need, we simply do not pass them by or turn a blind eye, but stop and hold out a helping hand.
  7. Finally, never to take our situations for granted because it is their sacrifice that has paved the way for us and our families to live in peace and harmony.
  • Lord let us pray:

Lord we pause to thank you for your goodness to us here at Innovative on this our Remembrance Day 2011.  We pause to remember the many who have made tremendous sacrifice to serve for the cause of Peace and Freedom.  In particular, heavenly father, we remember Trevor Cook who died for this cause whilst serving as a US Marine.  We also remember the entire Trevor Cook family as they continue to grieve the loss of Trevor.  Lord we pray for your peace “the peace of God that passes all understanding” on the entire Cook family at this time even as we give thanks for Trevor’s life.

We are thankful that we can share with Dave in this way and continue to offer him our prayerful support and friendship.

We thank you Lord for hearing our prayers and we are trusting you to bring comfort to the many other families and loved ones also left behind for this cause.  May your Grace and Peace be their portion, too.

We pray these things in the name of Jesus our Lord and Savior.  Amen.

Thank you.  GB

IBG Enhance used in “Ice Dusting“…

  • Montpelier, VT’s, forward thinking approach to solving potential flooding issues finds another application purpose for our versatile IBG Enhance product; a molasses/magnesium concentration used to quickly and efficiently dissolve hard packed ice, no matter what surface you spread it on!   In this procedure, IBG Enhance is mixed with sand and spread on the hard ice packs floating down the river, quickly dissolving and breaking up the ice pack to avoid the costly ramifications of a city wide flood.  Read more about this procedure by visiting the following link:
